The Lance Gamma RG500 Strut is a high quality piece intended to make Gammas more enjoyable to ride. Stock Gamma geometry makes the bike more heavy handling than its light weight would suggest. Dropping the forks 20mm and installing an adjustable strut makes it possible to adjust the steering head angle from 25.1dg (stock) to mid 23dg with about 98mm of trail (down from 110mm stock). These are very contemporary numbers and very effective. This image shows the black Quad O-Ring seals used to insure a long service life for the spherical bearings. |

Lance Gamma RG500 Strut is a bolt in replacement. It is manufactured to exacting tolerences to be a perfect fit. It uses the stock bolts and fits stock brackets. |

The light colored area on the RG500 strut threads are Delrin inserts. Delrin prevents the adjuster turning in service, thus eliminating locknuts. Ride height adjustment is done by reaching in with a single wrench and turning the center section of the strut. |
